Withdrawal Bill Question

David Davis: Secretary David Davis has made the following statement under section 19(1)(a) of the Human Rights Act 1998:

In my view the provisions of the European Union (Withdrawal) Bill are compatible with the Convention rights.

Absolute baloney, but you should ask yourselves why should he need to put that at the head of the #withdrawalbill paper on first page, does he feel backlash ?
